The Spirit House Chair, a custom, limited-edition chair designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and manufactured by Toronto furniture-maker Klaus Nienkämper. In advance of the June 2nd opening of the new Michael Lee-Chin Crystal at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), architect Daniel Libeskind and Toronto furniture designer Klaus Nienkämper have unveiled a new limited edition, custom built piece of furniture entitled the Spirit House Chair, inspired by the architectural peaks and facades of Libeskind’s Lee-Chin Crystal
Delivery & Pickup
All items require post-purchase delivery coordination.
Shipping:
Shipping is at the buyer’s expense and must be arranged after checkout. If you need help, we can connect you with a trusted third-party courier. For local orders within 10km of our Toronto studio (950 Dupont St), free delivery is available—we’ll confirm eligibility after purchase.
For all other deliveries, select ‘Local Pickup’ at checkout and email us at info@porchmodern.com with your delivery details. Oversized or fragile items may incur additional handling or insurance fees. We do not offer packing or crating services.
Pickup:
Pickups are by appointment during business hours from our Toronto location. A loading dock is available. Please bring your own materials (blankets, straps, etc.) to safely transport your piece.
Orders must be picked up within 7 days of purchase. If you need more time or have specific requirements, contact us before placing your order.
